The Bennington Area Trail Systems organization (BATS) is currently in the process of finishing the first segment of a new trail! Made possible by a recent partnership with Southern Vermont College, this 1.3 mile section features moderate terrain perfect for mountain bikers of all levels! 

     In order to complete this trail, BATS has partnered with the Southwest Vermont Career Development Center, who are asissting in the harvest and processing of on-site trees for use as bridges, boardwalks, and kiosks.
